In the bustling city of Indrapur, life moved fast for everyone — except three men who seemed destined for trouble.
Ramesh, a witty but perpetually broke mechanic, lived in a shabby room above a garage. He had big dreams but no money to back them. Across town, Suresh, a hot-tempered man with a heart of gold, had lost his job at a textile mill and was desperate to make ends meet. Then there was Ganpat Kaka, the quirky landlord of an old house who lived with his small savings, always worried about rent collection and survival.
By sheer twist of fate, Ramesh and Suresh ended up as tenants in Ganpat Kaka’s crumbling house. From day one, sparks flew — Suresh’s short fuse and Ramesh’s clever sarcasm clashed constantly, while Ganpat Kaka tried to keep peace, mostly because he needed the rent.
One evening, while they were sitting in the dark due to an unpaid electricity bill, the old rotary phone in the house rang. Suresh picked it up casually, only to hear a threatening voice. It was a gangster named Dhaman Bhai, demanding ransom for the release of a kidnapped girl.
The call, however, was meant for Shyamlal, a wealthy businessman whose number was strikingly similar to Ganpat Kaka’s landline. But the three men didn’t realize this mix-up immediately.
At first, they panicked. But soon, Ramesh’s sharp brain began working. “If the ransom is twenty lakh rupees, why don’t we act as middlemen? We’ll rescue the girl, return her to her family, and pocket a good share.”
Suresh was furious. “Are you mad? We’ll get killed!”
Ganpat Kaka, half-greedy and half-scared, mumbled, “But twenty lakh… even ten percent of that can change our lives.”
And so, the three unlikely partners formed a plan.
Their plan, of course, was riddled with mistakes. Instead of meeting Dhaman Bhai’s men in secret. All of them accidentally arrived at the wrong warehouse, leading to a chase with guard dogs.
Despite the chaos, they managed to reach the kidnapped girl, Anjali, a college student terrified but surprisingly quick-witted. With her cleverness and their sheer dumb luck, they tricked Dhaman Bhai’s men with a toy gun which all three carried. Anjali locked them inside their own hideout and escaped with Anjali.
When Shyamlal finally received his daughter safely, he was overwhelmed with gratitude. The police were called, Dhaman Bhai and his gang were arrested, and the three heroes were hailed as unlikely saviors.
Shyamlal offered them a handsome reward. For the first time, Ramesh, Suresh, and Ganpat Kaka held real money in their hands. Their lives seemed to be turning around.
Of course, true to their nature, they immediately started arguing about how to split it. Ramesh wanted to invest in a new garage. Suresh insisted on buying back his family’s land. Ganpat Kaka dreamt of finally paying off his debts and maybe opening a tea stall.
As they bickered loudly in front of Shyamlal’s mansion, Anjali laughed and said, “You three are impossible, but you make the world less boring.”
